记者表示，曼联新任CEO贝拉达周一早上解雇了滕哈赫，随后飞往里斯本，当面告知葡萄牙体育，曼联想要他们的主教练阿莫林，而且希望他能尽快加盟。

滕哈赫在老特拉福德度过两年6个月7天，虽然解约协议很好，但对滕哈赫来说算不了什么，滕哈赫感到沮丧。

在里斯本，贝拉达会见了葡体主席和总监。阿莫林告知想执教曼联，因此俱乐部双方对阿莫林解约条款展开了谈判，解约金为1000万欧，并设定30天通知期。葡体提出，在对阵曼城和布拉加后再支付500万欧解约金。曼联最终谈成额外支付100万欧，解约金共计1100万欧，签下阿莫林。
