12月11日讯据《邮报》报道，为减少俱乐部成本，曼联最近削减了员工的圣诞节福利。

拉特克利夫和英力士大幅削减成本，此前格雷泽家族提供的100英镑年度奖金被替换成了40英镑的玛莎百货代金券。此举让一些员工感到不满，一位失望的员工表示：“现在情况更糟了。”另一个人则说道：“至少格雷泽家族优先考虑员工家庭。”

其他人认为，曼联裁撤250人让很多长期在俱乐部工作的人离开了，留下的人不得不更加努力工作但报酬却是一样的。一位员工表示：“这比我原以为的要多40英镑。”

此前，曼联会为1100名员工举行圣诞派对，但如今俱乐部高层决定取消圣诞晚会，认为在经过一年的裁员之后再举行圣诞晚会并不合适。
